The SVC Print Guide

Welcome! If this is your first time using digital files or printable planner inserts, don't worry—we've got you covered. Below are step-by-step instructions to help you easily print and assemble your planner pages.

Important Note

For Letter & A4 Size Designs

If you purchased a design that is already sized for Letter (8.5"x11") or A4 (210x297mm) paper, you're in luck! You won't need to worry about trimming or assembling your inserts. Simply print them on your corresponding paper size, following the instructions for double-sided printing, and you're all set. The pages will print ready to use, so you can skip the cutting and go straight to adding them to your planner.

Printing & Assembly

Make Your Designs Real

Now that you're ready to get started, let's print!

Step Three: Print Your Designs

Now that you're ready to get started, let's print!

Open the file. Double click the PDF file to open it in your PDF reader.

Check printer settings.

  • Print size = 100% or "Actual Size"
  • Paper orientation = "Portrait" or "Landscape" based on the design of your inserts

For booklet printing:

  • If you want to print in booklet form, select the "Booklet" option in your printer settings (usually found under "Page Sizing & Handling" in Adobe Acrobat).
  • For double sided printing, choose the option that allows the printer to flip on the short edge.

Print the file. Click "Print" and let your printer do the rest!

Step 4: Cut & Assemble Your Inserts

After printing, it's time to cut and assemble your inserts:

For Files with Cut Lines:

  1. Cut in alignment with the outside border guides. Use scissors or a paper cutter to carefully cut a straight line from cut line to cut line.
  2. Optional: Use a ruler and pencil for precision. Place a ruler or straight-edge along the cut guides and lightly draw a pencil line across the page. This will create a clear cutting path. If any pencil lines remain after cutting, simply erase them before use.
  3. Keep the inserts stacked in order and on the correct sides. You should have a "left" stack and a "right stack." Do not flip the page before adding to the stack.
  4. Assemble the inserts by stacking them properly. Once the designs are cut out, simply close the left stack over the right stack as if you're closing a book.

For Precut Paper:

  • No cutting required. Simply print and insert your pages directly into your planner.

Final Tips

  • Test Print. If you're printing for the first time, consider doing a test print on regular paper to make sure everything looks good.
  • Double Check Your Settings. Always double-check your printer settings to ensure the correct scale and orientation.
